As Jack stated, Advanced Graphics Port. It's a much faster PCI type slot for
AGP video cards. Some of the G4's and later models have this on the logic
board, earlier Macs do not.

I have always recommended against trying to "flash" cards made for Windoze
machines. I have seen video cards and ATA cards being flashed. Many problems
have also been caused in the process. Plus, you need a peecee to flash the
card. Buy the Mac version pay a little more and it will work like it should.

Mostly in the beige G3's and later, but are not COMM slot modems like a
peecee. Peecee modems cannot be made to work in a Mac AFAIK.  A few of the
pre-G3 Macs also had internal modems but they may not have been 56k.
