The other lists such as the PCI PowerMacs should be able to answer any and all of your generic hardware questions. But here is my shot at it. 1. AGP, is a bus architecture designed to speedup graphic (Advanced Graphics Port). DDR is a newer and faster form of RAM, it is simply the newest and fasterest RAM about. It is used for Video RAM as well as System RAM. The DIMMs are keyed different than standard 5volt RAM or the pc100 varients or even SDR. No PowerComputing sytems use either AGP or DDR.
2. They are avialiable for the PCI PowerMac and Performa's as well as all G3's and later Macs. None are available for the PowerComputing Lines. 3. Yes. You need to be more specific? Do you need a NIC, SCSI card? These are either flashable or simply require the correct driver. The difference between PC and Mac cards is in the BIOs. Only cards which need to be seen at boot time require firmware changes to work in Macs. Video cards 4. No need to. There are PCI cards which will give you wireless networking. The Airport cards are generally designed for a specific Mac. 5. As to MacBible, feel free to check the publisher's site, or another mite be so kind as to chime in.
