i have 3.2.5 version and it runs just fine on OS. This is an old version, but I've used it from 7.6 to 9.1 without problems.

My copy of the 7th edition says it covers up to OS 8.5, the 8th edition says it covers through OS 9.2.1 and OSX 10.1.
