WELL, DUH! I just clicked on Apple profiler and it answered most of my question.

The 50 pin, ribbon cable connects to the PCI board, inside. The out side female plug is one of the small narrow types,
(I forget the Tee-widey numbers for it) .

I wasted about an hour, with Adaptec and others trying to find out about it last night. Decided it was too old to be on the list. Figured it must have been the standard PCI board they put on the PCP210's in 1997. (Some 210's came with the video accelerator circuit on the mother board)

While I was investigating, I read some of the old emails, people wrote about their ordering experiences with PowerComputing.

Methinks, I remember some glitches in late '97, when I ordered my PCP 240 and a 19" Sony Monitor. It came with one of the accursed JAZZ drives (Was that a Waste of Money!)

Their ordering and tracking system screw-ups, are mute testimony about what happens when Engineers start running the company.

OK, all you En-gua-neers, don't start whining. This old fart, studied Mechanical Engineering at TCU ... BUT then, that's what happened to Chrysler in the early 50's. The '49 to '54 Chrysler Products were some of the best engineered cars on the road, at that time ... But, Gen. Mtrs. and Ford were eating apples off their head. As we know, people don't buy quality, they buy (bought) DOS and Wind-ers 3.1.

Hello,
Try asking Adaptec. To my knowledge, any adaptec product with AHA was a scsi card. USB cards have AU? on them and video have AV? numbers.
Go to www.partscloset.com and enter AHA 2930 and all you will get are scsi adapters.
Give us some more clues: what type of connectors internal and external?

Subject: Identification of Video Board

Reference: Adaptec # AHA 29308

Unit: PowerCenter Pro 210

Does anyone have access to the original part Numbers on PowerComputing Products?

1. At the top of the circuit board is: Adaptec # AHA 29308

2. On the bottom of the board is: 1655806-22

3. The sticker on the inside of the Back plate has 1662900-01C.

What is this, pray tell?
