Has anyone used the extension X-Post Facto to allow a Power PC to use OSX?
Not with the original processor. I used it on a PTP with 400 MHz G3 ZIF in it with 10.1.5 through 10.2.6 it worked fine. The XpOSfacto forums are great, never had a support issue that I couldn't find a ready solution for.

Successes?
Worked fine for me. The old PTP was pretty much maxed out, 1028 RAM, three HD's CD RW and added USB and Firewire cards. Everything worked

Failures?
Only that the on board floppy becomes decorative with OS X. I just used an external USB floppy and that worked fine.

I have a PowerComputing Powerbase 200 with a 200Ghz processor running OS 7.6.1 and a 15" G4 PB running 10.3.6 and am considering the upgrade.

Thoughts? Advice?
Can't beat the price. Try it. You can always reformat the drive and put 7.6.1 back on if you chose,
