I have formatted this new hard drive and it sits empty on the desktop. I am wonder what the process will be to use it for the new OS 9.1 system. Will the OS 9.1 disk allow me to choose the new disk during the install process? Since I used a third party extension to format the disk and use it with this PTP225 will 9.1 say something like "you need version ?.? of Apple HD Setup to install this software". I've looked around a little on the web but so far haven't noticed anything. Maybe I'll check out xlr8yourmac.com for a hsitorical database on installing OS 9 on a PTP - just thought of it.
Anyone have any tips for how I'll go about this install when I get the disk?
