Wasn't that interesting? Back then, I never paid any attention to Amiga, as
I thought it was a game platform. (Hell, I was having enough problems with
my K-Pro and DataBase ll.) A lot of it was over my head but, I find the
history of a product or process a pleasure to read.

In 1953 at the age of 16, I read in Popular Science about the Dvorak
keyboard. Since the year before, my father and I had discussed how
backward, aka awkward, the layout of the Qwerty keyboard was ... it piquid
my interest at once.

They mentioned that Royal Typewriter was making a model of their portable
typewriter with a Dvorak layout. I had a few hundred in my savings account
from my paper route so, I cranked up my '40 Mercury Tudoor sedan and went
to downtown Fort Worth to the "Type Writer Shop". A very "top of the line"
typewriter was about $125.00 then. A portable Royal typewriter, at that
time, was a most excellent product of top quality.

DU' Whut? Nobody even knew what it was. So much for the mechandising
department's programs and the dumb ass at the point of sale.

What was the relationship with the Commadore and the Amiga?
