You could do as I've done with a PTP, and use the PCP as a dedicated printer
unit. This is especially useful with legacy serial port printers, but also
overcomes the hiccups which can occur even when background spooling/printing is
utilized.

A family member, or close friend who hasn't yet make the plunge into the
computer world is the best recipient outside of list members here. I've given
away several machines, including 2 PTP's to computer-challenged friends who
were uncomfortable buying a computer for several hundreds of dollars, knowing
that they can depreciate in value faster than a sixpack at half-time.

Aside from the inevitable phone calls for assistance, (which can be annoying
when the reason the monitor won't work is that the plug is out), it's a real
pleasure helping others get started with learning, although they are invariably
too dumb to realize just how lucky they are to start off with a killer unit
like the PowerCenterPro or PowerTowerPro...(spoken with all the disdain which
accrues to us old farts who had to suffer through the misery of 8 mHz MacSE's
etc. for far far too long...=)

Cheers...Michael
