Why can't you use Netscape 7.2 with OS 9.1? I've been using it with
9.1 for ages, first with the original 604e chip in my PC 150, and
lately with a Sonnet G3 replacement (I see you have a G4). Admittedly
I also installed an IDE 40GB drive with an ATA Controller. If you are
still using the original SCSI 2GB drive, that may be your problem. OS
X is fine, but there's nothing wrong with 9.1 or 9.2. I only use OS X
on my new Powerbook. The old machine is still invaluable and they
work well together.
