Long time watcher first time writer. I have a G3/400/200/1MB Upgraded PowerCenter 150 - 320MB Ram. Anyways the question is relating to graphics cards, has anyone purchased an:
"ATI Technologies RADEON 9200 128MB MacEdition PCI Graphics Card"
I haven't, but I did notice a difference going from my XCLAIM GA (8 Mb)
to my Voodoo 5 5000 (64 Mb) in my PowerWave. I'd say it was 7% faster. I
don't play many games, but I think that is where you'd notice it the
most.

The 9200 would be overkill in your PowerCenter for most uses but would be night and day to the OEM video that came in the clone. If you are just looking for a nice upgrade for running OS 9 it definately is overkill.
If you want to run OS X you'll need at least an ATI 16MB card from a B&W, but a Radeon Mac Edition 32MB is the best choice for the money. The 32MB can be found used for about $50.00. -- Ron

You don't "need" a 16MB ATI card to run OS X. As I am currently running it on a 8MB ATI Rage 128 VR and have run it on a 4MB Mach64 in the past.

Ya know, that's a good point. I'm running Jag on my old XClaim GA. It's 8 Mb. Now I can't take advantage of Quartz processing (even though I'd have to utilize a hack to do so), but it's fine for a hardware router. :) :) (Jag will run using stock G3 video.)
