They are all 3rd party stuff, usually Matshita. The ones out of Macs
just have some firmware or something that makes them
bootable/readable.

Here's the old Apple driver that should work with most CD-ROMs:

I know someone in the UK who may have an Apple SCSI CD-ROM  and I'll
ask him to email you if he does. He's in Sheffeild I think.


Here's a couple of searches within the Apple section on Ebay UK, The
CD-ROMs should all be Mac bootable but I would check to make sure it's
out of a Mac.
