Hi all

Haven't seen tons of action on this list lately so here's a little something..

I recently bought a cheap Airlink wireless PCI adapter at Fry's and of course, the Mac wanted nothing to do with it :-( I emailed their tech support address and, surprisingly, got a reply back quickly. Here it is..

Dear Bolton,

Thank you for contacting Airlink Technical Support.

I understand that you want to know the chipset that support AWLH3026 for MAC machines.

The chipset that support for AWLH3026 and MAC machines is Ralink RT2561T.

You can also reach our Voice Technical Support at 1-888-746-3238 for more interactive troubleshooting.

Regards,

Tom

So there you go, does anyone have such a driver? Did it work for you?

A google search for RT2516T gave only this result.. http://www.lavanguardia.es/25_10/rep/

which is kinda interesting if you click on the odd jpeg links, but otherwise useless. While proofreading this I also realized that I'm dyslexic..

More searching found this page.. http://www.ralinktech.com/supp-1.htm
but none of the drivers there seemed to work.
Has anyone had any luck getting Ralink chipset based wireless cards to work on their Mac of any flavor?

Bolton

Try the 2500 driver which is used on my Belkin card. THat might work.
