Thank you Ben! It took me a while to get down to it for I had no idea
what a grep-based search-and-replace was all about. I finally looked into
this last evening and it worked like a charm! All my imported emails now
have the proper date and my satisfaction with using PowerMail keeps on
growing.
In case anyone out there runs into the same problem as I did with the
date of imported mail, here are the grep patterns that solved it for me:
Search: (^Date\:\s+\w{3})(\s\w{3})(\s\d{2})(\s\d{2}\:\d{2}\:
\d{2})(\s)(\d{4}\s{1})
Replace with: \1\, \3\2 \6\4
