Yes, also in the address field. For example, the accents in my last
name were all properly imported. Powerfull this PowerMail!

There is no export option in Eudora 6.2.3., and Brice Dardel's
"Eudora mailbox converter to PowerMail 3", which is mentioned in
PowerMail's manual, didn't solve my problem either. But I did find a
way around the problem anyway.

Indeed, I figured out after opening a Eudora 6.2.3 mailbox with
BBEdit that my problem was due to the date format of the emails that
I sent prior to 2002. All the emails sent in 2002 or after had the
following format : dayofweek, dd mm yyyy hh:mm:ss (ex. Wed, 04 Aug
1999 12:13:14). But those sent prior to 2002, i.e., those that had a
wrong date after importing them into PowerMail, had the following
format: dayofweek mm dd hh:mm:ss yyyy (ex. Wed Aug 04 12:13:14 1999).
So I changed the date format of the corrupted emails in that mailbox,
and then I imported the mailbox once again using the
File>Database>Import command in the PowerMail menu. Result: all the
dates were adequate!

Now all I need to do is go through my numerous mailboxes and change
manually the date of my older emails. This could take time. All I
hope is that the result will be worth the effort.
