If you get desperate and want to try clearing the font caches, delete the following:
In /System/Library/Caches/: fontTablesAnnex com.apple.ATS.System.fcache com.apple.ATSServer.FODB_System In /Library/Caches/: com.apple.ATS In /User/Library/Preferences/ folder: com.apple.ATS.plist If that doesn't work - It *may* also be a corrupt font.
