Ah! "RMW" means "Recent Mail Window."
Yes, huge benefit there. Please, yes, do. If I may piggyback on this, it
goes nicely with my earlier request that PM remember more window states
on Quit - what email was open in separate windows, where the windows
were, etc.
I personally like the RMW being separate, but since any of PM's current
integrated folders can be made into separate windows just by double
clicking them, and I'd assume that would remain true if RMW became an
integrated folder, I'm all for it.
On the More Integrated Folders concept: I'd like to have Pref control
over them. For instance, I don't use the Spam folder, so it's wasting
space for me. Also, if PM went the way of adding Smart Folders (say,
below In and Out, but above the current standard folders), control over
display of RMW in the folder list becomes a preference question.
(FWIW, my initial thought was that, with smart folders, we wouldn't need
the RMW anymore, but we would, since it really behaves differently. I'd
presume a smart folder could show me everything in the last X days, but
RMW collects until cleared, so that's quite separate.)
