Jérôme, I would have had to drag the Sent folder to "Mail Trash." When I emptied Mail Trash, it seems to me that it would take a considerable length of time to delete 14k messages and I would see a progress bar for a very long period of time. >- search for a message you remember you have sent using the search >dialog, or using the "show reply" contextual menu on a message that has >the "replied" status. If the sent folder has just been moved inside >another folder, by example, you should find it. I don't know where that "contextual menu" is (sounds interesting), but I did search for a missing message I knew I sent and did not find it. >- start PowerMail while pressing the command and option keys, and choose >"verify the consistency of the database". In some very rare >circumstances, it could be possible that a folder is hidden; this >command should fix this problem. I checked all but the 2 non-relevant boxes of PM First Aid and ran those yesterday. Again, I exported the missing folder from a cloned copy and imported it into this copy of PM so I only lost 3 or 4 days of sent messages. I hope this doesn't happen too often.
