Jérôme, I would have had to drag the Sent folder to "Mail Trash."  When
I emptied Mail Trash, it seems to me that it would take a considerable
length of time to delete 14k messages and I would see a progress bar for

I don't know where that "contextual menu" is (sounds interesting), but I
did search for a missing message I knew I sent and did not find it.

I checked all but the 2 non-relevant boxes of PM First Aid and ran those
yesterday.

Again, I exported the missing folder from a cloned copy and imported it
into this copy of PM so I only lost 3 or 4 days of sent messages. I hope
this doesn't happen too often.
