I have a filter for spam that says:

Filter:
    Spam: actions
    Filter incoming messages
    Conditions:
        If Spam rating is high
    Actions:
Move message into folder : Spam
        Don't notify new message
        Don't show in Recent Mail
        Don't index message content
        Move attachments to trash
Don't apply subsequent filters to this message

The problem is that when a message is incorrectly identified as spam,
and I move it out of the spam folder (either by dragging it out or using
the "Mark As Good" menu item), the item is not then indexed, and there
appears to be no way to get the message indexed.

I believe that if there were an Action in the filters to "Index Message"
then I could add a filter that would solve this problem.

Also, I'm not sure how to get any attachments out of the trash for
messages that are incorrectly identified as spam. Thoughts?

Alan

PS--One problem is that it is hard to test things like this--the spam
rules and the index are effectively invisible (or at least obscure), and
errors in filters that involve them are hard to identify.
