To isolate things even more.... 1) I quit and re-launch PowerMail, and when I toggle from one email to another it takes less than a second. 2) I open Retrospect Express and then quit it again. Before quitting, it reminds me that I have a script scheduled for execution at midnight. 3) Back in PowerMail, it now takes 2 seconds to toggle from one email to another.
