Adding Spotlight

After upgrading to PM5.2, all connections to servers (both POP and SMTP)
would fail with arcane errors. Re-indexing the databases would work only
for the duration of that boot, but rebooting the computer would cause
the failures to reoccur. I finally upgraded _without_ allowing the
Spotlight indexing, and all has worked flawlessly since. Just for grins,
is it possible to add the Spotlight search after upgrading?
