Rein - Open your 'PowerMail Files' folder and look in there. In mine (which I located in my Documents folder), there's a 'User Prefs' file and a 'Setup Database'. You can try dragging these to a different location (possibly as well as the prefs files in the Preferences folder) and restart PowerMail to see if that will help. If you have compacted your database, there should also be a 'Setup Database.old' file.
