That was implied.

OK.

Yes, but in the spirit of this groups collective communication, it's not
a positive spirit to oppose for the sake of it when one could be
complementing the other expressed views with a differing one. Don't you
see there's a difference? Of course, if there are good reasons for
opposing and if that can be expressed and understood, then by all means,
that is useful.
However, there's a tendency on this list that certain individuals
habitually dismiss feature requests in a fashion with "blinders on",
excluding everyone that dares to express the need for something beyond
the status quo. That's not how you support great software to be come even
better. The long time users frequenting this list do not "own" PowerMail
or where it develops, but certain individuals certainly have seemed to
behave as if they do. At least they implied to own the issues discussed
and the "PowerMail way". No unholy "outsiders" may apply.

I'm not implying you did this now, but I want to make the suggestion that
you (and I) as well could try and *include* differing views when we
express ours to at least acknowledge these. This I did not think you did
with your earlier reply.

I certainly don't understand why a certain range of different needs could
not be met with future incarnations of PowerMail. It's not impossible,
nor does it have to be a mess.
I suggest that we all try and let go of our fears of discussing features
that could advance PM. I don't see CTM jumping on every suggestion,
rather I'd think all moves are carefully evaluated and thought trough. I
really think there is nothing to be worried about concerning discussing
features. Blanket rebuffing just because one doesn't see the need
personally is stifling and prevents natural evolution. Let us be free and
let us respect each other instead.
