When I want to view messages of the same topic, I use the "View only" option in the "View" menu. Since so many people reply to a message to start a new thread, true threading would lump the message with the wrong topic. Using the view only option, I can choose messages that include a single word in the topic, or several words to capture more specific topics - especially useful for hijacked threads. cheshirekat -- Life is everywhere.
