I have somewhat the same viewpoint as Wayne B. and some others. At a few occasions it would be nice but I don't really need it as I sort and read by date received. Usually that is plenty for me. Those few times I did wish it was threaded are maybe 10x over the span of several years.
What I REALLY would like to have - and am still astonished at the lack of voices on this subject - is to have the RECENT mail window integrated in the Mail Browser. I am quite tired of having a separate list window open next to the recent window and then it's just a drag to having always double-click on a folder in the folder list to get to mail within. So it's either having the Mail Browser constantly open with the Recent Mail window over it (which means again that one window gets into the way of the other) or continue doing what I am doing with the 2 separate windows.
