You're joking, right? The developer gives you a folder and says the role of this folder is to give you a place to put scripts you want to be called from the interface. Now it may be *inconvenient* for something you want to do, which is to use a folder designed to display scripts but have it instead display some but not others, but to call it "pretty stupid" is, well, pretty stupid.
