I'd suspect this is because Outlook Express is sending them to a "undisclosed recipient". In that case the groups are sent to the STMP server as one e-mail. In PowerMail's case it'll send each mail out individually. Thus, OE sends 45 e-mails and PowerMail sends 2250. This means PowerMail's way slower to send, but it's sending personally addressed mail. If you are doing broadcast e-mails regularly you may want to look at MaxBulk Emailer. It's an excellent tool. www.maxprog.com.
