well, yeah, because this is a system, finder thing, not a PM thing that it insisted on opening it in IE and it's the finder info window which will allow you to change the default application to open. I assume in PM you just get something like an alias of the finder info window, it's really just there to get info, but not to address system wide changes. note: you did not need to drag it to the finder, the file IS already on your drive, the icon in PM only represents the file - you can right-click and 'show in finder' to find the file in the finder (which, if it has been sent to you, usually is in the folder called 'attachments' within your PM folder (the one which also contains your PM database and PM address book files). ---marlyse
