It will if you're in OS X.
Get Info on any document that opens in IE automatically.
In "Open with:" select Safari.
Under "Open with:" you will see this button:
"Use this appliation to open all
documents like this.
Change All..."
Click this, and it will change all IE documents on your drive.
Somebody here posted an item about a SpamCop script, but I can't find the
