That is correct; however my postulation is that the "bug" is that
PowerMail plays it's alert sounds as plain sounds, when it _should_ play
them as "Alert" sounds. With that change the volume of PM's alert sounds
would be effected by the alert sound volume modifier in the system prefs.

Thanks for the heads up on this, quite cool. However, since I only have
one output device non of these help me :)
