Hi Powermailers, I periodically still have problems moving databases between computers, resulting in incorrect message counts (either the old negative number issue, or PM claiming that there are several unread messages when there aren't). Starting up PM with Alt-Cmd and doing a low-level database rebuild has always taken care of this.
Well today it happened again the message counts are wrong - but I'm unable to start PM with the Alt-Cmd keys now. The dialogue with the check boxes appears for about a second, then PM crashes. I thought maybe it was a 5.0.2b1 issue, so I went back to 5.0.1, but the same thing happened. I have unstalled three pieces of software that I installed since I last know I did this (Timbuktu, uControl, and Teleport), ran "repair permissions" for disk utility, and re-downloaded a fresh copy of PM, with no success.
