I currently have SpamSieve set up to notify me when new mail comes in, by both making a sound, as well as notifying me in my dock by counting the number of messages.
I wanted SpamSieve to notify me, so that I was not getting the notifiction sound every time a spam mail came in as well, Recently, I seem to be having a problem, where SPamSieve does not notify me on emails from people that I regularly receive email from.
