It was prudent of CapitalOne to flag the account for suspicious activity, esp. w/so much identity theft going on. However, after the card holder confirms the charge is valid, the account should have been immediately released.
It's a shame, they used to be the best (that I could find anyway). Now, they are raising my rate to 18%, adding fees and customer service has gone down hill. Hard to justify when I can get a competitors card at 0% for 12 months and 8% fixed thereafter, and their customer service can't be any worse. I'm just waiting for my new card to arrive so I can close my final CapitalOne account. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Lane Roathe, President Ideas From the Deep <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> <http://www.ifd.com> ___________________________________________________________________ Forget about world peace, visualize using your turn signals! >---------------------------------------------------------------------- >From: "Marlyse Comte" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > >And THAT again I CAN understand ;-) > >---marlyse > >P.S.
