Hi myriadlights.com,

I'm not defending PMs poor response time, they should have sent you your
PM4 key more promptly. However, your experiences so far are the
exception rather than the rule, and I recommend patience. My office has
been using PM for a year now (I purchased a 5-user license) and I'm very
happy with it. It's not perfect, but the engineers care about their
product and are working hard on a new version. Also, this list is an
excellent technical resource.

It sounds like you tried to upgrade from a PM4 demo to a PM5 beta.
Although others on this list recommended this approach, I do not. A beta
is a beta....it should not be used as your primary email program, and it
should not be used by a new PM user...how will you be able to tell the
difference between a feature and a bug? I think you should wait for your
PM4 key, use PM4 for a bit, then switch to PM5 after it has been released.
