Wish list: In any folder list of messages, I would like messages that have open windows to be highlighted or otherwise visually distinguished from those that don't. On a discussion list where there may be a hundred messages with the same subject header, it would be helpful to be able to see exactly where the ones you have open are located.
I very often start to write one or more messages with the intention of finishing them a little later. I don't want to save them as drafts and close their windows -- I want to leave them open, so I don't forget about them. More often than not, these are replies to other messages. It would be very helpful if the list of open windows under the menu item "Window" somehow visually distinguished my outgoing messages from the incoming ones, perhaps by sorting them separately. This would be very useful when replying to different messages on a discussion list which may have many messages with the same subject header. I would like to be able to close and delete -- without having to hit "Don't Save" -- any blank reply message that I have created by mistake, that has had no changes made to it. It would be very time saving if one could highlight an email address in an incoming message and have it be added to the address book simply by opening the address book window. It would also be very time saving if one could highlight an address in the address book window or open a Contact window, click on "New Message" or Command-N, and have a new outgoing message set up with that address already in the address window.
