wow - this sounds quite confusing and PM does not store its data confusingly. I think you are mixing up Apples MAIL outbox mailbox with what PM does.
PM does not store in "mailboxes". If you found the folder with your attachments, temp folders etc., you probably have located the folder you are looking for. If that folder is called "Power Mail Files" plus contains a file called "Address Database" and "Message Database", then you have what you are looking for. PM does not store each folder you create within PM in a separate mailbox, it stores the address book in one file and the database (i.e. all messages) in one database. You want to backup/copy this whole folder. Look at this as the PM contents folder versus the PM application folder which resides (usually) in your Application folder on your hard drive. Hope this makes sense. ---marlyse ------------ former message(s) quotes: ------------- >Thanks Barbara and Ben, > >I ran the script and got the folder that has my attachments, PM scripts, >Temp folders, databases, etc. But these are not the files where I am >storing my messages. > >Command - F locates the mailbox file in my library, but only the outbox >folder is in it.
