Hi Marlyse,
I have the following set up to ensure that spam messages I receive don't
trigger notification. It's a setup that was suggested by Michael Tsai and
seems to work quite well.

1) In your "SpamSieve - Move Spam" script, add the following lines after
the "move m to message container spamFolderName" part:

set spamMarker to "##"
if m's subject does not start with spamMarker then
set subject of m to (spamMarker & subject of m)

2) Directly after your SpamSieve filter in PM, add another filter with
the conditions "Subject > begins with > ##" and then define whichever
action you want, which in my case is "Don't Notify".

Of course, make sure the "Stop applying filters to this message" is
UNchecked in the upper Spamsieve filter and checked in the one below it.
