Yes this really would be helpful. Actually I wanted to use it on incoming mail - with the filter above in the filter list set to not stop applying filters, then the message would be passed on to this lower filter which then would apply a specific action if a message e.g. would be labeled as SPAM. But being able to use the filter on already filed messages would be cool too.
