I assume this is because the filtering operates only on incoming messages, which by definition haven't been labeled yet. However, I agree with Marlyse, being able to write filters based on labels that could be triggered on messages already received would be great. Also, of course, it would be nice to trigger filters on outgoing messages. -- Sherman
