I think you are correct on all three counts. This sounds weird but I finally decided to handle all my mail on pop through PowerMail, leaving the mail on the server on my dot mac account. Then if I want to look at it through Mail I open the Mail application. I did use IMAP for a while in PowerMail and it worked OK, but it does have the limitations you have outlined above. -- Barbara Needham
