Since updating to Panther, double-clicking on message icons in the 2-pane browser window produces an erratic side-effect. Approximately one message in four or five is immediately minimized into the dock.
I've tried fiddling around with the mouse-click settings in System Preferences and moving the position of the mail browser and message window on the screen, but the problem remains. For the life of me I can't imagine why a double-click should trigger minimalization, nor why it's so erratic. I used to use USB Overdrive, but uninstalled it after updating to Panther and discovering that it disabled the CD Tray Eject key. Any ideas? - Jud -
