Well, then stop moving the window around. :) I'm joking, mostly. Not sure how else you would set a window position other than moving a window where you like to see them pop up. That's the way it works in other apps and the Finder -- except apps that don't do things the right way and just open at whatever arbitrary usual position the program does, no matter the position of the last window (coughOfficecough). Your confirmation bit is a good one though. I tire of confirmation windows pretty quickly.
