Assuming you're using the latest version of SpamSieve, first turn off notification in PowerMail. Turn it on in SpamSieve preferences so you'll only be notified is when non-spam mail comes in. To mark it as read, open the file "SpamSieve - Move if Spam" that's in your scripts folder. The third line reads: property markSpamMessagesRead : false Change it to: property markSpamMessagesRead : true Save and quit the file. BTW, I've also edited my SpamSieve script to skip the spam folder completely by having everything it catches go right to Mail Trash. I skim the trash quickly before dumping, but false positives are so rare I don't worry about it. -- Judi Sohn . Mom at Home Design [EMAIL PROTECTED] . AIM/iChat: JudiS217 http://www.momathome.com
