Discussion of this problem seems to have slowed to a trickle. Does that mean people have found a workaround, or does it mean that everyone has learned to live with it?
I'm finding it more and more annoying. Several times a day PM hits a message (usually from a Yahoo egroup) which brings up a flashing error dialog [Class=DB what=2 when=6 err=147]. Opening the offending message (always blank) results in the minus unread message count. The really irritating thing is that PM will continue to try to download the same message at each pass, and I sometimes return to my computer to find the error flashing and a dozen or more copies of the same dud message. The only solution is to go into my POP server with a web browser, delete the message at source, then run the DB verification check with PM. The web browser, btw, has no trouble displaying the content of the message. - Jud -
