If you're simply looking for an application that can launch an
AppleScript at the touch of a key, there is a somewhat obscure shareware
program called FLaunch, which you can see at <http://www.pariahware.com/
flaunch.shtml>. You open its Preferences and drag the application or file
into the space representing the F-key you want to press to open that app
or file, click Done when you're through setting your preferences, then
press that F-key to run your pre-selected AppleScript or whatever you set
up. I have it set to open (or bring to the front) my most-used
applications. It was so easy to just hit F11 to bring up my web browser
to find FLaunch's web site for you, then hit F10 to bring PowerMail back
to the forefront to complete this email.
