Another option could be QuicKeys <http://www.quickeys.com/products/ quickeys.html>. Okay, it costs even more than YoupiKey, however it has a lot of functionality which you might find useful for many tasks and software. Besides being able to store and execute AppleScripts like the ones you want to run, you can have it record all sorts of actions and play them back. This is useful for programs when even AppleScript's recording doesn't seem to work (no events, etc.)... (It is NOT a replacement for AppleScript, however; just a different sort of automation tool, I think.) Might be worth a look. You can download a 30-day demo. that should be plenty of time to decide if it's worth the $99.95 (there may be a deal somewhere around too).
