Greetings all,

I was improving security on my mail server this afternoon by adding some
DNS RBL checks. I happened to be watching the logs just now, and
realised that ns1.nota.ch (217.192.97.106), through which the CTM lists
relay, is listed in dnsbl.njabl.org as an open relay. Thus, I've failed
to receive some messages that were posted today.

Specifically, they were messages that were delivered to me at 20:33
(powermail-discuss), 21:12 (powermail-testing), and 21:36 (powermail-
discuss), all times GMT -0500 tonight -- actual message dates no doubt
earlier by some minutes or hours. If anyone would be so kind as to
forward 'em to me off-list, that would be cool.

And here's another vote for CTM to install a real list manager that
archives the traffic, so that I wouldn't have to disturb everyone here
with this request.

thanks much,

-ben

(Note: according to dnsbl.njabl.org, the relay was blacklisted on Sept
13th 2002. I've submitted a request for them to re-check it, since that
listing may well be stale. In the mean time I've turned off that DNSBL
in my mail server so I should again be able to receive in the interim.)
