I've been having this issue for a long time, but only recently noticed
the correlation. When receiving mail (POP3), all other internet
transactions are put "on hold". For example, when I'm getting my mail
(which can take a while), Safari will sit there waiting to load a page,
and only finishes when mail retrieval is finished (and then practically
instantaneously afterwards). Anyone else seeing this? (currently
running 4.2b1)
