This is not true if one have 10mbit or any fast connection as I assume you realize. Mail connections tends to take considerably less bandwidth than a quicktime news channel. I can have that and 27 downloads if I want. Doesn't make a difference. So I concur that it is the *system* that is taking the beating, not trough the networkrelated layers. Powermail is not completely uniqe in this way under OS X. Just try and use FireWorks for something. Unbelievably slow. It is my intention to make a test and supply CTM with the info when I can find the time, so that they may fix the problem. PM seem to be faster and faster for every incarnation so let's have some hope. I have.
