i recently had to switch from POP to IMAP and found powermail extremely
pathetic in handling the latter protocol. there are too many things that
are faulty and counterintuitive as to mention here -- even Eudora does a
far far better job at this.
anyway: is there a way to use filters with IMAP? the filters menu
is always dimmed. pretty strange. or should i go ahead and install all
filters on the IMAP server?
and what about subscription to folders? i can't get that to work.
will that ever be implemented?
i am getting pretty pi**ed off here -- 50 buckos and no real manual,
no good IMAP support. Eudora only bothers me with commercials in a
corner of the screen and outperforms powermail on these two (and, i might
add) some other issues. but that is not what i want to resolve -- i am
just asking to get more IMAP support here.
