this is interesting. I know it worked when I wrote it because thus I had written it just after doing it. I had been surprised myself, and thus I am sure it had worked. now I can't re-create it so maybe it just had been one of these odd circumstances which made it appear as if that was going on when indeed something else was happening. I did not extensively try now to re-create it, but definitely was not able to do it. guess you'll just will need text-clippings for those situations where you want a signature to appear in the middle of an email.
